SHAME IN POLITICS (SARAH PALIN ON SNL)

IT APPEARS TO ME THAT THE POLITICIANS HAVE NO SHAME IN THE THINGS THEY DO THESE DAYS. SARAH PALIN APPEARING ON SNL THIS LAST WEEKEND IS PROOF OF THAT. COMEDY NEEDS TO STAY COMEDY WHILE POLITICS NEEDS TO STAY POLITICS. HER APPEARANCE ON THE SNL SHOW HAD TO TAKE TIME AWAY FROM THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL WHERE IT IS MOST VITAL AT THIS TIME FOR HER TO STAY FOCUSED ON THE ISSUES OF WHAT MCCAIN AND HER CAN DO FOR THE AVERAGE AMERICAN CITIZEN NOT TRYING TO BE A BIG TIME STAR OR SELF PROMOTING BITCH.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE RESPECT FACTOR IN POLITICS? SARAH PALIN DISRESPECTED THE REPUBLICIAN PARTY BY APPEARING ON THE SNL SHOW IN MY BOOK. SARAH PALIN HAS SLAPPED MCCAIN AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN THE FACE ONCE AGAIN. DOES THIS WOMAN HAVE NO SELF CONTROL OR ETHICS? DOES SHE NOT EVEN REALIZE WHEN SHE IS BEING MADE FUN OF ON NATIONAL TELEVISION? TELL ME WHAT WAS SHE THINKING OF BY GOING ON THE SNL SHOW TO BEGIN WITH?

I AM A REPUBLICAN THAT IS SO TRIED OF THE CORRUPTION,LIES, DIS-HONEST ACTIONS, SMEAR TACTICS, AND FEAR THROWING REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT I WILL MORE THAN LIKELY VOTE THIS TIME AROUND FOR THE OTHER PARTY. AS AMERICANS WE NEED A STRONG LEADER THAT WILL BE HONEST WITH THE PEOPLE AND HAVE SOME IDEA WHERE WE STAND. IT SEEMS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAVE LOST ALL TOUCH WITH THE WORKING MEN AND WOMEN OF THIS NATION THE SO CALLED MIDDLE CLASS THAT IS BEING WITHERED AWAY DAY BY DAY BY THE REPUBLICANS THAT HOLD THE OFFICES TODAY.

I HOPE MORE REPUBLICANS READ THIS AND JUMP BOAT IN PROTEST OF THE WAY THERE RETIREMENT FUNDS HAVE BEEN DOWN SIZED ALONG WITH OUR JOBS BEING SENT OVER SEAS UNDER THIS CURRENT REPUBLICAN PARTY RULE. NOT ONLY HAVE THEY EXPORTED OUR JOBS BUT THEY ARE NOW IMPORTING OVER 20% OF OUR FOOD FROM FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS ONE BEING IRAN WITH MAJOR SUPPLY OF FRUIT JUICES WE FEED OUR KIDS. NOW IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME ON THIS JUST GO TO THE FDA'S WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND THE COUNTRIES AND WHAT IS IN FACT BEING SENT HERE FOR US TO EAT. IT IS SHOCKING AND DOWN RIGHT SCAREY WHEN YOU SEE LESS THAN 30 YEARS AGO WE WERE EXPORTING MOST OF THE FOOD WORLD WIDE. IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE, IT IS TIME TO SECURE OUR BORDERS, IT IS TIME TO GET AMERICAN JOBS BACK ON AMERICAN SOIL, AND MOST OF ALL IT IS TIME TO VOTE OUT ALL THE REPUBLICANS WE CAN THIS TIME AROUND SO CHANGES CAN BE MADE. WE NEED JOBS, WE NEED STRONG LEADERSHIP,WE NEED OUR OWN GROWN FOOD, AND WE NEED THIS CHANGE FOR THE WELL BEING OF OUR CHILDREN IN THE YEARS TO COME.

MAIN STREET LOSES

GHOST TOWNS OF THE PAST BEGINNING TO BE THAT OF THE FUTURE FOR MANY MAIN STREET BUSINESSES. IT SEEMS THAT MANY MAIN STREET BUSINESSES ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES ARE BEGINNING TO CLOSE THE DOORS WITH NO HOPE IN SIGHT FROM OUR GOVERNMENT. THE HIGH COST OF GASOLINE, UNSTABLE STOCK MARKETS, LOSS OF JOBS, LOSS OF HOMES HAS MADE IT TO THE MAIN STREETS OF MANY TOWNS AND CITIES. DO WE HAVE SOME MAJOR CITIES THAT WILL BECOME GHOST TOWNS IN THE NEAR FUTURE? I BELIEVE THE ANSWER WILL BE YES IF SOMETHING DOES NOT CHANGE SOON.
THE SMALL TOWN IN WHICH I LIVE HAS SEEN MANY BUSINESSES ON MAIN STREET CLOSE THE DOORS OVER THE LAST YEAR. PEOPLE ARE FORCED TO SURVIVE WITHOUT HAVING ANY EXTRA INCOME FOR OTHER GOODS EXCEPT WHAT IT TAKES TO SURVIVE. TIMES ARE HARD BUT I AFRAID WE ARE IN FOR HARDER TIMES IF SOMETHING DOES NOT CHANGE SOON. IT IS SAD THAT THE CORRUPTION IN OUR GOVERNMENT HAS GOTTEN SO BAD AND WE LET IT GET SO BAD THAT IT JUST MIGHT BECOME THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR LIFE AS WE NEW IT.
WE NEED TO GET BACK TO TRUSTING IN OUR FELLOW MAN THAT IS THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR NO MATTER WHAT THE SKIN COLOR IS. WE NEED TO START GROWING OUR OWN FOOD AGAIN. WE NEED TO START MAKING THINGS AGAIN INSTEAD BUYING THINGS FROM OVER SEAS. WE NEED TO RAISE ANIMALS FOR FOOD AGAIN. WE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TRADE FOR ITEMS FROM OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS AGAIN. WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS AND BECOME AMERICANS FOR AMERICANS AND LET GO OF ALL OF THIS GREED. REFORM IS WHAT IS NEEDED WITHOUT HANDOUTS FROM THIS GOVERNMENT. WE WILL ONLY LEARN IF IT COST US BUT WE CANNOT DEPEND ON THIS GOVERNMENT TO BAIL US OUT. OUR GOVERNMENT IS SO BROKE ITSELF BUT THE POLITICIANS IN CONGRESS HAVE FAT WALLETS AND THIS MUST BE TAKEN CARE OF NOW. THE TIME IS NOW TO BE AN A.F.A. (AMERICAN FOR AMERICANS) STAND UP AND SHOUT OUT AGAINST THE CORRUPTION IN THIS PRESENT GOVERNMENT. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF WE STAND TOGETHER JUST REMEMBER THE 60'S AND ALL THE MARCHES FOR CIVIL RIGHTS. THEY DID IT ONCE WE CAN DO IT AGAIN FIRST STEP IS TO VOTE WHAT EVER SEATS THAT ARE UP IN NOVEMBER OUT AND REPLACE THEM WITH NEW. THE NEXT STEP IS TO PUT THE ONLY PERSON IN THE PRESIDENT OFFICE WITH REAL CHANGE. NO MORE BUSH POLITICS! THEN WE NEED TO START MARCHES TO THE CAPITAL FOR GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY.

Race Factor

The Race Factor in today's politics:

Lets not get caught up in years past where race or being different mattered. I hope that most of us have learned from the past and the horrors that were imposed on people with different colors of skin than our own. In the beginning we killed and tortured Indians because they were different and then we moved on to do the same to the slaves we kept. In all we as white Americans should be ashamed of our ancestor's and the way they treated people of difference.

I hope that we have all out grown such bad behavior and realize that just because one skin color is different does not mean that they are bad. It is time to judge a person as a person and not a ethnic stereo type. If we as people ever really want to progress in life as humans on this planet then we need to come together as humans with equal rights among all of us. Man, woman, black, brown, and white need the right to live as humans with equal rights.

Tonight CNN did a special on whether race would play a factor in the POLITICAL RACE. I watched this and my eyes were opened to one thing. It seems that the older generation has more hang ups over race than the middle age group or younger group. Now this is a shame because so many of these people lived through some very tough racily times. You would think that with seeing first hand the abuse that occurred to innocent people was wrong, they would be more understanding and respectful of all people.

This group is mostly Senior Citizens that say they "I will never vote for a black man for President" What is it fear that your past treatment of these people will come back to haunt you? I want to know how some of you sleep at night with thoughts like this? Let walk backwards in time for a few words. So many white people turn their heads to the beatings, the cross burnings, the spitting on black people as they walked by, the sitting on the back of the bus, coming in the back door of a business, black bathrooms only, and so on! It is today's Seniors that let all this take place and turned a blind eye to it and if anything you should be ashamed of yourself for not standing up for a simple human right. That right is the same as yours to be happy and raise a family. I would hope to think that just one of them would be in the shoes of just one black person that watched as the cross burned in their yard, the fear on their children's face as they watched there daddy being beaten to death in the front yard or hung from the tree on the side of the house. Just think if it was your children watching this take place to your husband. Now if you are truly a white bible thumping christian that at one time turned your head to all of this I would hate to be you on judgement day. The bible says judge he not unless you be judged and the ALMIGHTY will judge you hard. It is time to do what is right and simply judge the politics and not the color, age, but the person and what they will do for our country as a whole.
